HOWARD MAINS wins regulatory victories. Howard has been leading public affairs strategies for 30 years, ranging from grassroots lobbying to industry-wide advocacy efforts. Prior to joining TACTIX, he served on the staff of a federal cabinet minister, before joining Burson-Marsteller.

Howard holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

ALAIN MADGIN is an undisputed specialist in government relations and public affairs. Alain has 30 years’ experience as a government relations and public affairs professional in Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Alain brings a decade of in-house experience – at SmithKline Beecham, Solvay, AstraZeneca and McKesson – to clients in the life sciences sector, as well as representing major industrial groups and organizations’ environmental interests.

Alain served as President of the Quebec Brewers Association and holds a law degree from Laval University.
